What are the origins of the Law of Polarity?

The Law of Polarity is a natural law (aka a Universal Law). Natural Laws are thought to be intrinsic, unchanging laws of our universe that ancient cultures have always been intuitively known.

Ultimately, the true origins of natural laws are unknown, and as with most religions and spirituality in general, the intuitive nature of the principles tend to overcome their lack of documented origin. Natural laws are often associated with Ho'oponopono, a meditation originating in ancient Hawaiian culture. Some of the laws are also attributed to Hermetic philosophy dating back to ancient Egypt and others are ascribed to ancient Taosim developed in the 4th century B.C.  Most organized religions, including Christianity, Hinduism, Buddhism and Islam all have teachings that reference these natural laws in one way or the other.

The 12 Natural Laws are: laws of vibration, attraction, divine oneness, compensation, polarity, correspondence, inspired action, cause and effect, relativity, gender, perpetual transmutation of energy and the law of rhythm.

Arguably, the most famous natural law is the Law of Attraction, which achieved mass notoriety in 2006 thanks to the self-help movie and book,  ‘The Secret’, which sold 30 million copies worldwide and was translated into over 50 languages.
